A week before the beginning of the 3 day extravaganza, RIZIN officials announced one more fight card for RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GRAND-PRIX 2015 SAITAMA 3DAYS event. Hideo Tokoro is going to face Kizaemon Saiga on December, 29.

RIZIN FF Chairman Nobuyuki Sakakibara, Hideo Tokoro and Kizaemon Saiga appeared at the conference. “I have already stated that on 29th we are having SARABA “Farewell” Fiesta, which will put an end to the past, and I am happy to announce a new card today that will represent the whole idea”, commented Sakakibara announcing Hideo Tokoro vs. Kizaemon Saiga.

“And now the fight card is complete. I am proud that for both events we managed to deliver the great fight cards which MMA fans would be excited about. No doubt these two also will put a fight that fans are hoping for. This fight will represent all the beauty of Japanese MMA.” (Sakakibara)

“I am very happy to fight. Fighting on New Year’s Eve seems more of a celebration to me, but I will put all my power in order to win and show a great fight with Saiga. My training partners say Saiga is a really tough fighter, so I will be aggressive as much as I can. I want to show an action packed fight.” (Tokoro)

“I am not that experienced in MMA, just 3 fights. The question is how much of my training I will be able to show during a real fight. I’ve been watching Tokoro’s fights on TV when I used to compete in the -18 K-1 Tournament, I am really excited to be fighting him, because we both know how to show the fans an entertaining yet classy fight. When I win, people will witness the change in generations.” (Saiga)

Chairman Nobuyuki Sakakibara also announced the order of fights for the both events. December, 29th SARABA “Farewell” Fiesta: Including the 1st match of Tsuyoshi Kosaka vs. James Thompson and the main card of Kazushi Sakuraba vs. Shinya Aoki there will have 14 matches.December 31, IZA “Takeoff” Saltation: There will consist in 13 fights which will kick off with the match between RENA and Jleana Valentino, and conclude with the Tournament finals. The fights were announced and explained along with the rules.

“There will 27 fights in total. This should be enough fights to satisfy the diehard fans who have been waiting for this event. Each match has its own meaning. Even though there are going to be a lot of fights, the fights will not get boring, there will definitely be much more KOs and TKOs than decisions.” (Sakakibara)

“Even though both events will be held inside the same venue, we will take the production level to a whole new dimension in just 24 hours “, commented Sakakibara about the upcoming New Year’s Eve show. “There will be many changes, starting with music of course, along with the ring mat and even gloves. Amongst all of the changes, there still will be some things left as an inheritance from the past. I am thrilled for everybody to see the contrast of “before” and “after”.
