June 10th, JST: Rizin Fighting Federation has just announced Kron Gracie vs. Hideo Tokoro. This fight will be at 65.8kg and will be held at Saitama Super arena. The fight will take place in late September, with the Openweight tournament also scheduled to start at the same event. The fight was announced after a match making meeting took place during a fan club event.

Although the fight announcement was somewhat of a sudden surprise, it has been a fight the fans have wanted to see for a long time. Kron Gracie had a victorious 2nd professional MMA fight when he defeated Asen Yamamoto at Rizin Fighting Federation`s New Year’s Eve event. Gracie defeated Asen Yamamoto with a triangle choke at the end of the first round. This fight promises to deliver a grappling clinic as both fighters look to show off their impressive set of skills.

Tokoro was a special guest during the match making meeting, and gave his consent for the fight to take place 65.8kg. He showed a great desire for the fight to take place. Although no official date has been announced for the event, Rizin does plan to hold a press conference in the near future outlying their plans for it.
