The rematch between Akebono and Bob Sapp has been added to “RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GRAND-RIX 2015” fight card.
A super fight between Akebono and Bob Sapp has been confirmed for the “RIZIN FIGHTING WORLD GRAND-PRIX 2015”event held on December 29th (Tue) and 31st (Thu) of 2015.
The 2 have fought before back in 2003 New Year’s Eve which set the highest television rating record for fights. This will be a rematch after 12 years. Rules and comments will be released after a scheduled press conference.
