At King of the Cage “Firefight”, held on June 4th at Soboba Casino, San Jacinto, in the United States, Kanako Murata defeated Maia Kahaunaele-Stevenson with a TKO 3:43 into the third round.

Murata, who made her MMA debut for Rizin FF in Japan on April 17th, defeated Kahaunaele-Stevenson in just her second pro MMA fight to take her fight record to 2-0.

Murata comment:“I won! This is only my second MMA fight, but I will continue to train and study hard and be the best fighter I can be. I want to put on great fights for the people. Believe in me!”
