Bellator 157: Dynamite 2 was held on June 24, 2016 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri and featured a mix of both MMA and kickboxing fights. In the main event, former UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson (37-11 MMA, 4-0 BMMA) fought Japanese 2008 Olympic judo gold medalist Satoshi Ishii (14-6-1 MMA, 0-1 BMMA) in a catchweight fight of 225 pounds. Despite Ishii controlling the fight from start to finish, repeatedly used inside trips to get Jackson to the mat, Jackson won by split decision. The judges scored the fight 29-28, 28-29, and 30-27 in favor of Jackson.
