Despite Ishii controlling the fight from start to finish, repeatedly used inside trips to get Jackson to the mat, Jackson won by split decision. The judges scored the fight 29-28, 28-29, and 30-27 in favor of Jackson.

June 10th, JST: Rizin Fighting Federation has just announced Kron Gracie vs. Hideo Tokoro. This fight will be at 65.8kg and will be held at Saitama Super arena. The fight will take place in late September, with the Openweight tournament also scheduled to start at the same event. The fight was announced after a match making meeting took place during a fan club event.
