Q) Please tell us about your promotion you hold in Lithuania.

I currently put on 2 events BUSHIDO for MMA, and KING OF KINGS for professional kick boxing. KING OF KINGS is a wide project and we put on events not only in Lithuania but all over Europe.

Q) What made you participate in RIZIN?

I first had a chance to come to Japan in 1999, and this visit will mark my 125th time visiting Japan. I have been associated with many organizations in Japan such as RINGS, PRIDE, SHOOTO, ZST, K-1, Shooto Boxing. I happily accepted my cooperation since Mr. Sakakibara is going to make his come back to create the world’s number 1 MMA event.

Q) What are your thoughts on Japanese MMA?

There are MMA events held all over the world, but I believe that all of the fighters want to fight in Japan one day. I feel that fighters train dreaming about fighting on a big event such as PRIDE one day. Japanese fighters have big and strong heart and never break when they fight. They always surprise me with their level of technique.

Q) What do you expect from RIZIN?

The fight industry is always changing. There were many changes made when PRIDE disappeared 7 years ago, and now I believe that there will be many changes now that he is back. Current fighters all set their goal on fighting in America, but I personally think America is not a dream stage for the fighters. I believe that RIZIN is the dream stage for fighters and a stage where the fans would love to come see.

Q) A message to the fans please.

I am excited about many fighters as a promoter. All of the fighters on NYE are going to be great. This event will create new stars that you were waiting for. I really want you to come watch it live at the Saitama Super Arena. There will be many surprises that will keep you on your feet. Please look forward for it.
