Teodoras Aukstuolis will be facing Bruno Cappelozza for the opening round of the RIZIN WORLD GP. “I would like to fight a fight that is meant for a festive event like this, and be victorious” said Teodoras during the interview.

—You will be representing BUSHIDO for the RIZIN WORLD GP, how do you feel?

I am really excited and honored to be fighting in the Grand-Prix. This is a huge event so I would like to do my best for myself and for everything I represent.

—You drew No.2, and chose the second bracket. What was the reason?

I wanted somebody to pick me as an opponent instead of picking one. And thought that fighting King Mo in the Semi Finals would make an exciting fight.

—Your opponent will be Bruno Cappelozza. What are your impressions about him?

I have seen some of his fights, but he is a wild striker. I think our styles will make for an entertaining fight. I will go home and start planning for a fight against him.

—How do you train on a regular basis
I train 2 times a day for 2 hours each. I work hard on all aspects for MMA from my striking to my grappling and conditioning so I feel confident.

—What kind of organization is BUSHIDO

BUSHIDO is the biggest event in Lithuania ran by a much respected promoter Donatas Simanaitis. BUSHIDO has provided the Japanese fight scene such as PRIDE, K-1, DREAM and more with many fighters. It is an honor for me to be chosen by Donatas to represent.

—What can the fans expect from you?

I feel that the Japanese are good at evolving their ground game. My background is in Judo so I am familiar with lots of the ground technique that is used by Japanese fighters. I hope to show my skills during the fights. I also compete in various sports from Command Sambo to grappling tournaments so I will be ready to fight any type of fighter.

—Message to the fans

First and for most, I would like to thank everybody involved for giving me this opportunity. I plan to show big takedowns, big blows which fits the festive event such as this one. Please look forward to my fight.
