—What do you feel about fighting for RIZIN FF
I got this offer through my manager and I was simply happy because I was wanting to fight for them.

—This fight will be under K-1 rules
I don’t care, it won’t affect me. It’s NYE. It’s better because the time is a lot shorter than MMA 10 x 5 x 5 minute rules so I don’t have to work as long. I honestly don’t care. I am not worried at all

—What are your thoughts about HIROYA
He is a fighter straight out of the books. I plan to throw strikes that are not on the books.

—What kind of training are you currently doing
I jump around at the park, shadow box, spar, cardio, all sorts of stuff. I am not working anything particular for K-1. I’m not working on my ground as much, but that’s about it. Nothing special.

—It has been a while since MMA has been showed on TV
I think it is important to show the viewers how entertaining fighting is. So I plan on fighting a fight which is not sport-like. I’ll constantly go for the knockout and won’t fight to score points.

—How do you want to evolve as a fighter through RIZIN FF
I think this is a big opportunity for me, so I need to perform well, and put food on the table.
