“From the horizon you will see me as the last man standing” An interview with Hinata.

—On the eve of your fight, how do you feel?
I did everything I can to prepare for this. The fight was announced three weeks ago under MMA rules and I trained hard, sharpening my strong points. I’m ready for this.
—Sharpening your strong points? Even under MMA rules, do you mean your kicks?
That’s exactly what I mean. I don’t think the fans want to see me rolling around on the ground the entire match, so I want to show them my striking and attacking ability. My opponent is also someone who likes to strike, and I am a MMA novice so I know this is going to be a tough fight. But none of this matters, what matters is that I have to win. Unfortunately, there are only 6 minutes allocated for this match so I have to give it my all for those 6 minutes.
—What was the general reaction when this fight was announced?
There was some reaction from the people on social media when this fight was announced. The last time I fought on TV, I wasn’t really given all that much attention so the reaction wasn’t all that big. To be honest, I hadn’t fought on TV for 5 years, so this time I am going to make sure that, even though I am starting from some way back, by the end you will see me from the horizon as the last man standing.
